        DMH FLEX Program Manager

                                        (South County/Charlton)
 

Starting Salary:$ 70,000.00/year + sign-on bonus (half paid after 30 days of employment and half paid after 90 days of employment; pro-rated for part-time).

Wayside’s Charlton site is seeking full-time Program Manager responsible for the management, oversight, and daily operation of the Department of Mental Health (DMH) FLEX contract providing community-based services for a cohort of 20 youth and young adults with mental health needs and their families. Services provided by a team made up of Clinicians, Therapeutic Support Workers, Young Adult Peer Mentors, and/or Parent/Caregiver Peer Supports.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinates referrals and liaisons with DMH.
  • Manages data and reporting requirements, participates in monthly utilization reviews, and other quality improvement activities.
  • Supervise MA/BA level interns and Masters and Bachelors Level staff as applicable.
  • Participate in internal agency committees, work groups, and other cross-program/cross-component activities.
  • Some direct service work with youth and families is part of the position.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or other related human service field. Independent licensure is NOT required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth with mental health needs.
  • Driving in the community is a requirement of this position; please ensure you have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
