SUMMARY:  The Receiving Inspector is responsible for the receiving and the induction of aviation components that are due for maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive and sign for the freight from delivery services.
  • Sort freight to the appropriate area.
  • Open boxes of freight and confirm contents match the paperwork received.
  • Fill out appropriate documentation for components received without sufficient information.
  • Complete the 360° receiving photographs in a photo booth.
  • Distribute the components to the appropriate locations after induction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • High School/GED equivalent.
  • 0-1 years of relevant/technical experience.
  • Basic computer operating skills (Word).
  • Proficient writing and communication skills.
  • Have the ability to read and comprehend customer purchase orders.

OTHER

  • The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
