SUMMARY:  The Inside Sales Representative is capable of performing duties of the customer account manager as well as assists the Sales and Procurement team in maintaining LRU stock, answers and processes customer request for quote and communicates customer core status via the ERP system for the repair of civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:   

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

  • Open repair receivers for outsourced customer units and receivers for purchased cores.
  • Review and verify paperwork that is received with purchased cores.
  • Receive customer core units into ERP system.
  • Generate claims for units that need to be returned to vendor.
  • Upload inventory to RFQ databases.
  • Pull LRU units from inventory and take to shipping.
  • Provide core evaluation results to customer provided by the shop via email or phone.  Bill customers when applicable.  
  • Answer customer RFQs via phone and email.
  • Input and ship customer exchange and outright orders via ERP system.
  • Utilize the ERP system and other company systems to document, track and maintain interaction with customers, request for quotes and opportunities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate's degree
    • OR an additional 2 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
  • 2 year of relevant/technical work experience.
  • Previous experience in sales or customer service.
  • Ability to communicate technical and customer specific information properly and clearly.
  • Basic math skills required.
  • Experience with problem solving in a high stress environment.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong emphasis on accuracy and detail when working with internal and customer data.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects to meet goals and deadlines.
  • Ability to develop sensible strategies and physical solutions for facilitating workflow, and efficiency in workspace.
  • Previous negotiation skills regarding sales and customer requirements/requests.
