SUMMARY:  The Process Review Technician is responsible for ensuring components and their related documentation are thoroughly reviewed to confirm all specified work has been completed accurately. They verify that each technician has finalized their tasks and documented all work performed in accordance with required standards. The technician will also install safety wire and preserve civil aviation articles in accordance with the current technical data provided in the manufacturers’ Instructions for Continued Airworthiness, Services Bulletins, service letters, Airworthiness Directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Review all documentation for correctness before transferring the component to the next stage in the process.
  • Identify and communicate any exceptions or discrepancies in documentation or component compliance directly with the responsible technicians.
  • Ensure technicians have accurately documented all work performed, including sign-offs, part usage, and procedural notes.
  • Utilize the ERP system to review customer purchase orders to ensure components are completed per customer request.
  • Input data into ERP for specific OEM’s.
  • Review service bulletins performed and ensure they are properly completed and documented.
  • Complete the Pre-Final Inspection process as needed.
  • Coordinate component priority level to be processed.
  • Communicate priority challenges to the Production Coordinator and Final Inspection team for clarification.
  • Preserve components in accordance with the component maintenance manual.
  • Install safety wire and seals on components after the final function test has been performed.
  • Install safety cable on components after the final function test has been performed.
  • Install shipping caps and plugs onto components.
  • Document maintenance records of all work performed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate’s degree
  • 2+ years of relevant/technical work experience
  • OR an additional 2 years of specific work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and illustrations.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with technicians and quality assurance teams.Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies in document and component compliance.5+ years of relevant experience in aviation industry.Document review experience a plus.High Mechanical aptitude.The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
