SUMMARY: The Expeditor is responsible for ensuring that a business has the supplies and inventory it needs to function according to schedule. Their duties include communicating with suppliers about the status of supplies, problem-solving to reduce the impact of late shipments and submitting purchase orders to vendors. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Processes parts upon delivery and ensures they are received and dispositioned.
  • Monitors and ensures the flow of parts through Receiving Inspection process, moves and dispositions received parts to the proper location in a timely manner
  • Maintains an orderly, neat, clean, accurate, and organized area at all times.
  • Corrects part discrepancies and ensures they are addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Utilize on site personnel if necessary.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement upon approval from Manager.
  • Track materials at work site to ensure material is dispositioned correctly.
  • Perform cycle counts as required for site location. Research and resolve any count discrepancies.
  • Monitor and control inventory integrity.
  • Monitor project delivery timelines, check work quality against company requirements and specifications and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Handle any related to vendor service, such as poor product quality or delivery delays
  • Maintain product identification, location, and location code accuracy.
  • Transportation of parts to and from Ft Lauderdale CTS-Jupiter CTS, as necessary
  • Must be able to pass a driving record background check.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • 1-2 years of relevant/technical work experience.
  • Good standing driving record.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook and scheduling applications

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate degree in business or related field.
  • 2+ years inventory experience.
  • Aviation experience is a plus.

OTHER

  • The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
