SUMMARY:  This position assists with all the daily functions in inventory control, including the direction of all floor traffic and workload.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Ensures the accurate entry of stock cards into inventory control systems.
  • Thorough Investigation and root cause analysis determine and troubleshoot any inventory issues that arise.
  • Process all routine supersessions and ensure processing of all zero balance.
  • Assist with locating stock in prime locations based upon usage.
  • Entry of all purchase order item receipt transactions.
  • Maintain all tracking, logging, and reporting of errors, escalating issues to appropriate department or function for correction.
  • Ensure overall facility compliance with all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction through inventory levels and quality processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Associate degree in [add major] or related field and a minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
    • or an additional 2 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree

 

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Forklift certificate or license
  • Knowledge of distribution center operations
  • Knowledge of enterprise resource planning or inventory control systems
  • Knowledge of inventory product flow from receiving to shipping

 

OTHER:

  • The selected applicant will be subject to a background check and drug testing.
