IT Product Owner
What does the IT Product Owner do at Swire Coca-Cola?
The IT Product Owner is responsible for assisting Senior Product Owners' and Product Managers in managing the vision, strategy, and roadmap for specific applications or product lines. You will work closely with other product owners, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure that business, quality, and functional goals are met for each project. Responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the completion of specific projects the IT Product Owner will have the “Big Picture” for the organization while ensuring these initiatives are on time, on budget, and within scope. Preferred experience in with Consumer Packaged Goods, Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, or Warehouse organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting senior product owners or product managers in managing the product backlog and ensuring it aligns with the product strategy and vision
- Participating in agile ceremonies and working closely with the cross-functional team to ensure product requirements are understood
- Collaborating with stakeholders to gather, document, and prioritize product requirements
- Assisting in the production of product documentation, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources like user feedback and product usage. It involves working with metrics, analytics tools, and techniques to draw conclusions and provide reporting based on the findings.
- Coordinating project schedules, resources, and information
- Liaising with product managers to identify and define project requirements, scope, and objective and eliminate blockers
- Monitoring project progress and handling any issues that arise, acting as the point of contact and assist in communication of project status to all participants
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Engineering or relevant field
- 1+ years Experience business analysis, product ownership, and project management required
- Analyze large volumes of data, identify potential issues, root causes and work with stakeholders to develop solutions in a rapidly changing and ambiguous environment required
- Quantitative understanding, attention to detail, and great problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines
