What does a Maintenance Supervisor do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Directs, manages and holds accountable all maintenance employees. Directs and implements all maintenance programs for building and machinery in an orderly, efficient and professional manner. Keeps accurate records of department activities and budgets. Assures the operation of safe and functionally sound machinery. Directs all major equipment rebuilding and overhauls. Working with government regulatory agencies, or other responsibilities as assigned.

Schedule: 9:00p - 5:30a (Mon - Fri, some weekends)
Location: This will be at our Tempe plant.
Responsibilities
- Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of all maintenance related functions
- Supervises routine and preventive maintenance on all production and building equipment
- Implement and schedule a preventive maintenance system
- Plans and coordinates equipment rebuilds and overhauls
- Budgets-recommend and control expense budgets Capital expenditures recommendations
- Effectively supervises the maintenance department staff, ensuring optimal performance
- Ensures that maintenance staff is appropriately trained
- Provides regular feedback to maintenance personnel regarding performance of duties as outlined in job descriptions and maintains personnel files
- Formulates and implements employee corrective actions as needed
- Ensures compliance with Company policies, safety regulations, and assures their understanding and support of the Swire Mission Statement and Core values
- Assumes responsibility for the effective administration and coordination of department functions
- Maintains accurate departmental, equipment, and budget records
- Establishes and maintains an effective working relationship with department employees, other production center managers, and production line supervisors in order to resolve outstanding issues or corrective actions.
- Ensures that work area is clean, safe, and in accordance with OSHA regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in manufacturing engineering or related field required
- High School Degree additional experience required
- 6+ years manufacturing experience required (beverage/food preferred)
- 4+ years supervising manufacturing staff required
- Knowledge of Food Safety, HACCP, and GMP requirements
- Strong understanding of the plant production systems and equipment, including electrical, plumbing, water handling, mechanical, automation, and others
- Strong knowledge of industry maintenance standards for manufacturing of food grade products
