Order Filler

DESCRIPTION:

• Pick orders from stored merchandise. Must choose appropriate size and type containers to prepare shipment.
• Provide bulk merchandise and packing supplies to the department. Insure merchandise on shelf or in location when needed for an order.
• Be willing to work in a self-directed team environment.
• Work performance and quality monitored against established guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Physical strength to handle merchandise and packing supplies. Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds. Occasional overhead lifting. Must be able to bend, squat, and grasp hand trucks.
• Basic computer skills to perform team functions and company operations. This includes UPS/FedEx/Connectship systems.
• Keep organized work area. (Includes minimal housekeeping.)
• Required to utilize voice picking system
• Required to train on Stock Chaser and Electric Pallet Jack.
• Primarily a standing/walking position.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must maintain acceptable attendance levels during probationary period.
• Experience with radio frequency (RF) scan gun or be willing to train on operating RF equipment and procedures.
