District Account Manager
JOB TITLE: District Account Manager
JOB LOCATION: Various Locations throughout the United States
POSITION SUMMARY:
Goal-driven professional with a passion for building and maintaining relationships while growing revenue. The District Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing relationships with existing customers within their assigned region. This role requires a strong focus on customer retention, contract management, and revenue growth while ensuring service excellence and alignment with company objectives.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
Account Management & Customer Retention:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all existing customers in the district.
- Conduct regular check-ins and site visits to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upsell opportunities.
- Proactively address customer concerns and coordinate with operations to resolve service-related issues.
- Negotiate contract renewals, pricing adjustments, and service expansions.
Operational Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with operations to ensure service commitments are met.
- Monitor service performance metrics and communicate customer feedback for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and contract updates in the CRM system.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports on sales performance, pipeline activity, and market trends.
- Work closely with District Manager to implement sales plan (organic sales, scope increases, and price increases) to achieve or exceed annual revenue budget. Results should consistently outperform prior year
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field).
- 3-5 years of sales or account management experience in a service-based industry.
- Experience in transportation, logistics, waste management, or related fields preferred.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and travel within the assigned district as needed.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
This role requires a mix of independence, strategic thinking, and relationship-building to drive sales growth while ensuring exceptional customer service. The position involves regular use of computers, tablets, and phones, as well as occasional lifting of materials up to 20 lbs. Exposure to outdoor elements, industrial sites, and varying weather conditions is expected. Mentally, the role demands strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills to manage customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and resolve service issues effectively. Success in this position requires excellent time management, resilience under pressure, and the ability to adapt sales strategies while maintaining attention to detail and meeting revenue goals.
