Overall Goal of Position:
Operate and set-up production lines (Filler, Capper, Labeler, Bottle Packer, etc.) safely and efficiently to support OurRecipe@SauerBrands:
The hours of operation for the 2nd Shift Machine Operator are from 4:15pm to 2:45am Monday through Thursday and some Friday’s for overtime. You must be able to pass a pre-employment background and drug test upon offer.
Job Summary:
Under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Machine Operator will properly package and label all products, supporting quality assurance initiatives, and timely completion of all required production documentation. Incorporated in the general duties of the position is the operation of various types of packaging equipment safely, troubleshooting, as well as maintenance of equipment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate production lines in accordance with established standards.
- Perform line change on production lines.
- Assist in troubleshooting system issues on equipment before, during, and after production runs.
- Perform general housekeeping and 5s around lines at the end of production runs.
- Adhere to all safety, operating, Safe Quality Food (SQF), and GMP procedures/policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Support Production Supervisor in other production actions and programs necessary for developing the desired company culture
- Support Our Recipe by demonstrating a positive, team-oriented and customer focused attitude
