Warehouse I - Support
Overall Goal of Position:
This position is responsible for working in the Raw Goods or Finished Goods warehouse in support of Supply Chain, Production and/or Customer Service, at the direction of the warehouse Supervisor, and helping to make OurRecipe@SauerBrands.
Job Summary:
Primary focus is to support the Supply Chain and Production departments by receiving, sorting, moving and distributing material/product, and to support Customer Service by moving, packaging and shipping orders for customers. Position reports to Warehouse Supervisor.
Shift: M-F Days

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Raw Goods
- Reads production schedule, work order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line
- Conveys materials and items from Raw Goods to Production areas or to other designated areas
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Marks materials with identifying information
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards
- Arranges materials in specified sequence for use by other workers
- Uses computer, barcode scanner and/or other devices to record material transactions
- Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
- Maintains inventory records on paper and/or in ERP system
- Finished Goods
- Reads customer order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or packaged for distribution
- Conveys product and items from production areas to storage or to other designated areas
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station
- Uses computer, barcode scanner and/or other devices to record material transactions
- Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications
- Drives vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment
- Prepares parcels for mailing

- Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED required
- 6 months to 1 year prior experience or training preferred
- Equivalent combination of schooling and experience accepted
