Ravago Americas is seeking a talented and dedicated Project Manager to join our dynamic team at our Edmonton, Alberta facility. Key Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager, you will:
- Oversee the day-to-day construction progress of the Path to Zero (P2Z) project.
- Design, specify, and implement piping systems for logistics equipment, including pneumatic product conveying, compressed air, process water, and cooling systems.
- Lead the design and implementation of Operation Clean Sweep (OCS), an initiative to prevent plastic pellets, flakes, or powders from leaving our site.
- Plan and coordinate regular meetings with all stakeholders, including customers and the Ravago Engineering Team.
- Collaborate with CAD specialists to develop support drawing packages such as PFDs (Process Flow Diagrams) and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams).
- Work closely with general contractors and equipment suppliers to ensure equipment fit and function.
- Manage the receipt, organization, communication, and installation of equipment within the Ravago ISBL (Inside Battery Limits).
- Maintain financial controls to ensure approved Capex Budgets are not exceeded.
- Support the Special Projects Engineering Manager and Operations Team on high-visibility responsibilities.
- Uphold Ravago's Quality, Safety, and Environmental Procedures and Code of Conduct standards.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Competencies:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Knowledge of logistics processes such as pellet and masterbatch material conveying systems and railcar loading systems for plastic pellets.
- Experience with PLC/Integration Systems for production and communication with Customer Operations Teams.
- Ability to travel to project sites and equipment suppliers as needed. (Up to 40%)
- Experience in developing specification packages for mechanical and electrical equipment manufacturers and installation contractors.
- Proven success in completing large capital projects ($20 million+) on time, within budget, and safely.
- A "Sell, Not Tell" leadership style and a proactive approach to management (Management by Walking Around).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of engineering and manufacturing design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, and other relevant software.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Excel (Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint preferred).
Work Environment and Conditions:
- Comfortable working in shared spaces with constant noise.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including in excess of 40 hours per week as needed.
- Willingness to travel to areas with climate conditions ranging from -40°C to +40°C.
- Travel up to 40%
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and talk regularly.
- Regular use of hands for keyboards and office equipment.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.
- Adaptability to winter and summer conditions in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada.
