Job Summary:
TheCook/Fryerprovides excellent food and customer service by properly cookingand serving menu itemsfor clientele in a timelyfashion,reporting to the Kitchen Lead as needed. Additionally,they are also responsible for contributing to a positive shopping experience for customers,including assisting in maintaining companyquality standards.
Essential Functions of the Position:

Assistscustomers with purchase of food and drink.

Provides help with food preparation such as but not limited to cleaning, prepping ingredients and sauces, marinating meats.

Cutting ofmeat to fit menu needs.
-
Ensures quality standards by properly following FIFO ( firstin first out) methodology.
-
Cooks and fries all menu items to company quality standards.
-
Monitors inventoryshrink to avoid unnecessary losses.
-
Cleans and sanitizes restaurant and work-related equipment.
-
Responsible for proper sanitary food storage of hot and cold food.
-
Monitors temperatures to ensure food safety standards are met.
-
Receives and puts away vendor orders.
-
Assistscustomers with ordering and service as needed.

Addresses and resolves customers'complaints and concernswithin capabilities topromote good public relations, escalatingto store management if necessary.

May assistwith fulfillment of online customer orders with accuracy and efficiency.

Assistsin ensuring afavorable company image forcustomers by maintaininga clean, attractiveand friendly restaurant.

Maintains a neat, well-groomed personal appearance at all times including observing company appearance standards.

Complies withall safety policies and procedures.

Follows local, stateand federal health and civil code regulations.

Complies withall state, county and local weights and measures laws and labeling requirements.

Reports malfunctioning refrigeration or equipment to management immediately.

Observes shift operating hours at all times as scheduled or assigned by management.

Greets all customers and provides them with prompt and courteous service

Performs all other duties and assignments as directed.
Knowledge, Skillsand Abilities:
-
1+ years of Cash Handlingand Restaurant experience preferredbutnot required.

Ability to follow company protocols for receiving productto ensure product quality standards and accuracy of quantity.

Good verbal communication skills.

Capable of using interpersonal skills to manage employees and assist customers in a variety of situations.

Ability to follow all safety protocols including food safety and properly utilizingand maintaining necessary equipment.
Physical Requirements:

Performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to sit, stand and use hands tooperate cash registers.

Ability to stand for long periodsof time.
-
Ability to lift upto30-40 lbs. as needed.

Hand eye coordination and dexterity to properly utilizecash registers and other job relatedequipment.
Work Conditions:

Standard Work Hours: Typically, every day of the week including weekends and holidayswith occasional overtime to meet project deadlines.

Workenvironment includes refrigerated storage areas and relatively dampor humid conditions including wet or slippery floor surfaces.

Noise levels are typically moderate but can be extremely noisy if a need arises to check on refrigeration or enter the compressor/machine room.
