Employment Logistics: 

 

We seek a strategic and dynamic Vice President, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for Logistics Operations & HR Transformation who serves as a strategic advisor and partner to the leadership of the warehouse and distribution functions. This individual will align HR strategies with business objectives to drive operational excellence, workforce engagement, and employee productivity across multiple warehouse locations. They will lead the development of talent management programs, ensure compliance, and foster a high-performance culture within a fast-paced, large-scale supply chain environment with more than 100 locations nationally.  This executive will also partner with the CHRO in  the development of a three year HR strategy and innovation roadmap focused on the optimization of the HR function to deliver improved service delivery while reducing cost to serve.

The Must-Haves: 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred. 

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior HRBP role supporting large-scale operations (preferably in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse environments) 

  • Demonstrated success in implementing talent management strategies in a complex and fast-paced environment. 

 

Your Mission in Motion: 

 

  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with the Chief Operating Officer and senior management team to develop and execute talent management strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure the talent strategy supports the overall business strategy. 

  • Performance Management: Drive the performance management process, ensuring clarity in goals and expectations, regular feedback, and employee development plans. Support the implementation of standard operations performance metrics and systems to evaluate and improve individual and team performance. 

  • Talent Management & Development: Lead succession planning and career pathing initiatives to facilitate internal growth opportunities. 

  • Employee Engagement and Retention: Develop and oversee initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Implement programs to promote a positive work culture, diversity, equity, and inclusion. 

  • Talent Analytics and Digital First: Monitor workforce trends, including turnover, absenteeism, and labor costs to inform strategic labor planning in a highly seasonal and high growth business. Analyze HR trends and identify areas for improvement to optimize business performance. 

  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as internal policies and proceduresLead efforts to reduce risk related to labor issues, safety incidents, and workforce compliance auditsCollaborate with legal and safety teams to implement policies that mitigate risk and promote operational efficiency. 

  • Change Management & Continuous Improvement: Partner with leadership to promote proactive change management strategies related to operational restructuring, process improvements, and HR initiativesServe as a thought leader, promoting innovative HR solutions within the logistics industry. 

  • HR Innovation: Partner with the Chief Human Resources Officer and the HR Leadership Team in the development of our innovation and process improvement roadmap to drive cost efficiency and improve service delivery to a geographically disbursed and virtual workforce.
