St. Ann’s Community is are currently looking for a Dining Room Captain to join the team at our Webster Campus. The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the dining room meal service and oversees the upkeep of the dining room environment. 
 

St. Ann’s Community Offers:

Job Description:

  • Greets residents entering the Dining Room, while remaining in the Dining Room throughout meal periods. Obtains and documents residents’ feedback for meal period.

 

  • Initiates emergency procedure for residents requiring medical attention

 

  • Checks the set up and operation of the Dining Room, assures daily work is assigned including station assignments. Ensures completion of cleaning assignments. Promotes teamwork with staff. Communicates information to Dining Services Supervisor.

 

  • Maintains highest standards of service in an orderly and safe environment. Communicates with Dining Services Supervisor, any non-compliance of standards by staff.

 

  • During meal service, assists servers as needed to ensure timely service.

 

  • Maintains a clean and pleasant atmosphere in the Dining Room

 

  • Assists with the completion of any assigned inventories on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.

 

  • Operates POS system when required to do so.

 

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Dining Supervisor or Executive Chef

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-2 years of previous wait staff experience required
