MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENT:  16 years old                     

 

LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS. Nevada Health District Food Handler Card.  Alcohol Awareness Card, if 21 years old or older. 

 

JOB SUMMARY:

 

Responsible for providing guests with professional, prompt and courteous food and beverage service, while maintaining a pleasant atmosphere.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be customer service and team oriented.  Must be guest and team player. Ability to work in a fasted paced environment.  Ability to follow directions.  Must be organized.  Must be adaptable and flexible, willing, and able to work any shift including weekends and holidays.  Must be able to follow directions and work quickly during periods of peak business. Must be able to speak conversational English.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Assist server as directed.

 

  1. Provide plates and table service to service areas. Remove glassware, coffee cups, plates and silverware from tables. Remove full bus tubs to dishwashing area.

 

  1. Wipe all food particles from table, chairs, and booths into bus tubs.

 

  1. Reset tables with plates, glasses, silverware and napkins.

 

  1. Constant attention to detail to meet the needs of the server and guests.

 

  1. Sweeps under and around tables when needed.

 

  1. Other job-related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items, from 5 to 75 pounds or more.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as kitchens, restaurants, bars, coolers, offices, meeting and training rooms, e.g., use of safe work practices with kitchen equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire, health and safety regulations, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.
