JOB SUMMARY:   

 

As a Casino Host at Mesquite Gaming, you will play a pivotal role in cultivating and maintaining relationships with VIP guests while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a personable and professional demeanor, strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The Casino Host will work closely with the marketing team to attract and retain high-value customers, providing personalized services to ensure their loyalty and continued patronage.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

 

Two (2) years or more of Casino or Marketing experience required.  Must be computer literate.  Must possess strong problem solving and communication skills. Must be able to multi-task, must be well organized and must be a problem solver.  Must be able to read, write, and communicate clearly in English.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

 

  1. Serve as the main point of contact for VIP guests, offering personalized assistance and addressing any needs or requests they may have.

 

  1. Monitor guest activity and preferences using the casino’s player tracking system. Identify potential high-value players and ensure they receive appropriate attention and incentives.

 

  1. Coordinate and promote casino events, tournaments, and special promotions to attract and retain guests. Ensure guests are informed about and invited to exclusive events.

 

  1. Address and resolve guest complaints and issues, ensuring a positive resolution and maintaining guest satisfaction. Provide exceptional service to enhance the guest experience.

 

  1. Telemarketing to active and inactive customers by telephone to further maintain Company and customer satisfaction.

 

  1. Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

 

  1. Other job related duties as assigned and instructed by management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

 

The work requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking over rough, uneven, or rocky surfaces; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items. The work may require specific, but common, physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts requiring normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, meeting and training rooms, libraries, and residences or commercial vehicles, e.g., use of safe work practices with office equipment, avoidance of trips and falls, observance of fire regulations and traffic signals, etc. The work area is adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated.  The work environment involves exposure to secondhand smoke in a casino.  This is a 24 hour/7 day a week work environment with varying shifts including weekends and holidays.
