Sourcing Specialist

The Sourcing Specialist will partner with Category Managers to execute Viant's category management strategy through strategic RFx events and directed negotiations. They will leverage their comprehensive procurement expertise to drive cost savings and value across direct and indirect materials. Working closely with global procurement and supply chain teams, the Specialist will contribute to category strategy development and implementation. Success in this role requires demonstrated negotiation skills, proven ability to deliver measurable savings, agile response to changing business needs, strong execution capabilities to drive initiatives to completion, and commitment to Viant's values while collaborating across all organizational levels.

Responsibilities:

• Leads swift execution of end-to-end sourcing initiatives, from opportunity identification to implementation, emphasizing rapid cycles and tangible results
• Manages multiple simultaneous RFx events, utilizing agile methodologies to reduce cycle times and maximize value capture
• Implements and optimizes eAuction processes to generate immediate savings, capable of executing multiple events weekly
• Develops and implements accelerated negotiation strategies to capture market opportunities, focusing on favorable commercial and financial terms
• Collaborates swiftly with internal stakeholders to align requirements and specifications, minimizing approval cycles
• Identifies and rapidly executes cost reduction opportunities using should-cost modeling and market analysis
• Ensures effective implementation through rigorous timelines
• Maintains strict cGMP and SOP compliance while driving continuous process improvements
• Follows established procurement policies and vendor management protocols
• Adheres to compliance requirements and standard operating procedures
• Works within defined budget parameters and approval hierarchies

Work experience:

• 3-5 years of demonstrable strategic sourcing experience with successful execution track record
• Medical device industry experience highly desirable
• Proven history of rapid savings initiative implementation-Desirable
• Fully bilingual English/ Spanish-It´s a must

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Operations Management or related field preferred
• Agile Methodology, APICS, or similar certifications are a plus
