Maintenance Technician I {HVAC license, plus certification}

Shift Available: 1st Shift (Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm)

The primary purpose of this job is to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment along with performing basic general facilities maintenance, service, and repairs to equipment and machinery.

Position Summary: 

The Maintenance Technician would be responsible for the preventative and general maintenance on our production equipment throughout our facility. The technician will provide preventative maintenance and some troubleshooting on our Swiss, Lathes, Wire EDM, Grinders, Mill Machines & Chillers. In addition to providing critical service and repairs on our HVAC units, we are looking for experienced candidates that have 7 plus years’ experience. The technician may be required to perform other maintenance functions as required. 

Job Responsibilities:   

• Assist with the installation, movement and disassembly of machinery and equipment.
• Maintain, overhaul, modify and repair machinery and stationary equipment.
• Electrical troubleshooting of CNC circuitry utilizing multi-meter & other diagnostic techniques.
• Ensuring operating safety devices function properly upon completion of repairs, modifications and installations.
• Read and interpret manuals schematics and process specifications to visualize layouts and guide work.
• Collaborate with production departments to ensure maintenance requirements are completed in a timely fashion.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment practicing 5S principles, environmental sustainability, and continuous improvement related to maintenance processes and procedures.
• Maintain all equipment by performing routine repair work, daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual maintenance.  
• Maintenance of HVAC & Chillers

Job Requirements: 

• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer and Microsoft Office applications (excel, outlook, word, etc).
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team environment and work with other departments.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and mechanical systems
• License and certified in HVAC
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic pressure & automation systems. 
• Must possess excellent mechanical and basic electrical knowledge, aptitude, and principles. (trouble shooting skills)  
• Demonstrated knowledge of basic computer and Microsoft Office applications & PM systems (excel, outlook, word, etc).
• Knowledge of refrigeration and mechanical systems. 
• Certificate/degree in machine repair or machine maintenance preferred.
• 7+ years Maintenance Service Technician experience.
• Demonstrated history of recommending suggestions for process improvements and cost savings.
• Experience with following equipment preferred: EDM/Sinker, Laser, Swiss Lathes, Grinders, & Milling.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
