The Production Operator is to cycle and run machines that require full time attention. The Production Operator may be required to remove each part as it is molded, put inserts into mold or put in hand loaded inserts. On Production Operator assigned machines, the Operator is required to stay at machine, while machine is running, unless relieved by another Operator. Some additional responsibilities are:
- RATES STARTING AT $17.00-$20.00/hr (based on experience)
- Additional $1.50/hr for 3rd Shift
- Available Shift Hours: 3rd Shift: 10:00pm-6:30am

Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for automatic machines. Inspects parts and bring supplies into cleanroom from packing. Assist with line clearances. Ensure and maintain correct cavitations at each machine. Input rejects from machines at end of shift.
- Responsible for packaging and document control packing to customer specifications.
- Include sample shots and SPC data when required.
- Responsible for bagging and labeling and documenting all packaging on the PWO.
- Initiates line clearance forms as jobs are completed.
- Completes line clearances inside of cleanroom. Input rejects when needed.
- Responsible for packaging and document control as it pertains to packing parts outside the cleanroom. This includes collecting and maintaining work-in-progress part pallets.
- Receive parts and confirm labels and paperwork are correct for parts being packaged. Packaged bags to be transferred to boxes, applying labels and completing PWO documentation.
- Securing extra documents or sample parts within boxes prior to sealing and identifying boxes with stamps or stickers for medical parts, sample shots and SPC data.
- Move packaged boxes on pallets to staging area. Perform line clearances and complete line clearance forms as jobs complete
Basic Requirements:
- Must be able to read and follow all procedures
- Must be able to read and follow all work instructions.
- Cycle machine as trained.
- Inspect parts for defects and cosmetics issues.
- Pack parts at machine per customer specification.
- Maintain Medical Parts Program where necessary.
- Assist packers with line clearances.
- Input rejects from machines if needed.
- Communicates with Supervisor, Technician, and QA any issues with parts or machines.
- Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
- Willing to work any other assigned duties as instructed by Supervisor or Lead.
- Must be willing to train other employees
- Must relieve for breaks and lunches as needed.
- Must be safety conscious and work in a safe manner at all times. Follow all safety rules and standards.
- Maintain clean working environments throughout production and assembly areas.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for entire shift.
- Must be able to bend, twist, and squat.
- Must have good vision, aided by glasses if necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing in the medical field helpful, but not required.
- Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate deep technical material.
- Ability to work in a demanding user environment.
