LOGISTICS OPS COORDINATOR II-HC40810 DPT LOGISTIC

 

 

SUMMARY

 

Primary responsibility is to manage the BOEING Min/Max  and quality activities of LISI North America. The individual must be able to produce ad hoc analyses and provide reliable forecasts via the ERP M3 system and ensure that optimal, cost-effective methods are used in accordance with product specifications and quality standards following company policies and guidelines.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform internal Quality audits
  • Participates in the management of the audit certification, internal audits & customers.
  • Participates in the implementation of the certification according to the ISO standards / EN.
  • Responsible for writing and updating procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensures up-to-date quality LISI Aerospace Logistics System and indicators.
  • Ensures trainings on Quality LISI Aerospace logistics system.
  • Participates in the continuous improvement of the QMS.
  • Downloads and upload all customer data.
  • Analyzes forecasts using macro + comparisons with previous forecasts; implement forecast changes if necessary.
  • Performs ad hoc analysis on forecasts accuracy
  • Provides monthly KPIS on accuracy of customer forecasts.
  • Creates manual forecasts when customer forecasts are not enough accurate
  • Manages and communicates all forecast changes in system and ensures all North American plants are updated.
  • Communicates and alerts all significant changes in forecasts to North American plants.
  • Manages forecasts of MIN/MAX stock.
  • Provide trainings on forecast management and related tools
  • Follows established policies standards, practices, and procedures for the LISI Aerospace Logistics group.
  • Makes decisions based on past practices, when necessary will elevate issues to upper management.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Works with a certain degree of creativity and latitude as required.
  • Assists in the development and update of processes and procedures
  • Responsible for complying with the rules and regulations set forth by Federal, Local, and State government, LISI Aerospace, and HSE Procedures.
  • Responsible for attending all training provided and for adhering to all HSE procedures, policies, and plans, conforming to reporting requirements, and safe operating procedures at all times.
  • Required to bring any known or suspected nonconformance for all company procedures or legal requirements to management’s attention immediately.
  • Continually seeks opportunities to improve our HSE performance by establishing objectives and targets, measuring progress, and reporting our results.
  • Performs a variety of other related duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS SKILLS AND ABILITIES

 

Education and/or Experience

  • Associate Degree.
  • Minimum of three years related Supply Chain, or Customer Service experience required and/or training; or equivalent combination of education.
  • Advance Excel and Word /Power Point skills
  • Experience in a similar analytic research role is a plus.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Mathematical Skills                                                 

Ability to apply mathematical concepts with addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, average, standard deviation, statistics, in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. 

 

Reasoning Ability                                                    

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and follow instructions in written and basic diagram formats.  Ability to multi-task a variety of problem solving techniques and deal with several internal and external situations.

 

Computer Skills

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word; Excel; Outlook, and ERP applications.
