CNC Operator I - 2nd Shift
Kurt Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Operator I to join our team at our Die Cast Division in Fridley, MN. The CNC Operator I is responsible for operating and adjusting semi-automatic or automatic numerically controlled machine tools to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided, and setups are often made and maintained by others.
Shift: 2nd Shift: 3:00 p.m. - 1:00 a.m. Monday - Thursday
Compensation:
The anticipated starting pay rate for this position is $19.67 to $25.50. The exact salary may be based on a combination of factors including the knowledge, experience, skills, abilities, and education.
Essential Functions
- Adjusts and operates semi-automatic CNC machines with minimum supervision
- Spot-checks succeeding pieces for conformance to specifications, using micrometers and precision dial gauges.

Required
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- 2 years of related experience
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings
