Finance - Accountant

Accountant Role: This position will provide support and backup within the Accounting & Finance Team.  Reports to Accounting Manager. 

What you will do:

• Perform tasks related to day-to-day accounting needs, month-end close and financial reporting 
• Account for all bank transactions
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts
• Responsible for compliance and filing of unclaimed property, property tax and business licenses
• Cross train on multiple accounting processes including fixed assets and sales tax

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• An advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft excel
• Candidates should possess knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
• Ability to work in both a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
