Position: Clinical Therapist

Job Type: Full-Time

As a Clinical Therapist, you will play a vital role in our Community-Based Services program, providing therapeutic support to children and families. You’ll work in a variety of settings—including homes, schools, offices, and the community—to ensure interventions are trauma-informed, evidence-based, and goal-oriented.

A Day in the Life:

  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for service recipients ranging from age 2 to 21 years old.
  • Provide individual and family therapy in community-based settings.
  • Guide the treatment team to ensure services are clinically sound and medically necessary.
  • Offer crisis intervention, skill-building, and advocacy to support clients.

 

Clinical Therapist Skills and Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree in a Human services field (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, etc.) is required
  • Professional license or certification in the state of Kentucky is required (e.g. CSW, LCSW, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, LMFTA, LPATA, LPA, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record is required
  • Ability to organize, plan and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of child abuse and neglect, child and adult development required
