A Day in the Life:
The LPN or RN will support the Skilled Respiratory Therapy Department in catering to residents with pulmonary issues, adhering to all relevant standards and regulations. Responsibilities include assessment, treatment, and evaluation of respiratory needs to ensure top-quality care and uphold the facility's mission of promoting residents' well-being and quality of life.
LPN or RN Responsibilities:
- Perform respiratory care procedures within scope of Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse licensure, including oxygen therapy, suctioning, medication administration, and airway maintenance
- Collaborate with Respiratory Therapy leadership, physicians, and interdisciplinary team for resident-centered care
- Participate in resident activities and education, providing nursing and respiratory support
- Manage pulmonary monitoring devices for accurate resident assessment
- Document respiratory care accurately in electronic medical records
- Maintain licensure and complete required training
- Ensure fair treatment and confidentiality for residents, families, and team members

- Perform other assigned duties
LPN or RN Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Requires current Kentucky LPN or RN license
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and motivational abilities for trauma-informed care
- Demonstrates independence, flexibility, integrity, and professionalism
- Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related software
- CPR/Basic Life Support certification required, will be provided if applicable
- Minimum 6 months direct care nursing experience in acute or long-term care setting
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Electronic Medical/Health Records experience
- Cardiopulmonary, ventilator, or pediatric experience

Shifts Available:
Full-time, Nights, 30 or 36 hour lines
Some variances to schedule should be expected.
Pay: Will be based on experience and interviews
