A Day in the Life: 

The Clinic Nurse acts as the liaison between Home of the Innocents, guardians, and specialty physicians under the Support Services Manager's direction. They coordinate consults and appointments, collaborating with the medical team to meet residents' needs and maintain rapport with all involved parties.

Clinic Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute both on-site and off-site medical clinics regularly, including urgent situations
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clinicians and medical offices to ensure smooth clinic operations and optimal outcomes
  • Gather medical history and relevant information for appointments, facilitating the best care for residents
  • Manage appointment calendar and communication with guardians, Clinical Nursing Supervisor, and care team
  • Coordinate transportation and medical monitoring for residents' appointments with Support Services Coordinator
  • Maintain accurate medical records and provide updates to HOTI physicians and care team

  • Perform other assigned duties

Clinic Nurse Required Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Independence and ability to care for medically fragile children
  • Strong organizational skills, compassion, and autonomy
  • Critical thinking, communication skills, and regulatory knowledge
  • Unencumbered, Valid LPN or RN license
  • CPR certification
  • 1 year of pediatric nursing experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Shifts Available:

  • 1st Shift, Full-time, 40 hours/week  
  • Flexible Scheduling
  • Some variances to schedule should be expected.

Pay: Will be based on experience and interviews
