Recreation Aide - Heather Heights

Heather Heights is looking for a vibrant and energetic Activities/ Recreation Aide to join their outstanding team! This position is part time and would require flexible hours with weekend availability!

In this role you will be expected to:

• Interact with residents and understand their needs and limitations with respect and empathy
• Develop, lead and engage in diverse activities that cater to a wide range of interests and abilities including but not limited to, arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, music sessions, outings, Holidays and special events
• Encourage the participation and social interaction of residents during group activities
• Monitor the behaviors and outcomes of an activity ensuring positive feedback and engagement
• Provide individual attention and planning to residents based upon his or her needs or interests, honoring residents’ requests is our specialty!

Minimum qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
