You will lead your team through being a coach, mentor, and talent developer, with the focus on providing an exceptional service experience to internal and external customers, delivering results with outstanding customer satisfaction, increased resident retention, and consistent high-level operational results!

Starting salary at $70,000 (and more based on experience).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop owner relationship and communicate investment opportunities
  • Work with Property Managers to implement effective sales, marketing and advertising programs that drive a pipeline of new residents, support the Goldmark brand marketing strategy at the property level and increase resident retention. 
  • Responsible for the regional portfolio management and associated follow-up actions of feedback provided through the Kingsley Resident Satisfaction program.
  • Responsible for ensuring property teams are managing, communicating, and are complying with all Fair Housing, EPA laws and regulations, Federal, State and Local property management laws, as well as government programs including but not limited to Section 42 and Section 8.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budget for each property within their portfolio.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans for properties not meeting key 
    performance targets
  • Provide direction and guidance on vendor selection and management to ensure appropriate use of vendor resources
  • Hire, train, develop, and lead team members to perform at their best with a focus on transforming the lives of those we serve. 
  • Must be willing to spend 50% or more time at properties within their regional portfolio. Time at properties will be focused on providing hands-on support and guidance on resident relations, marketing, property management and team development strategies.

Experience & Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license, vehicle, and vehicle insurance per company requirements.
  • Four-year degree in business or related subject preferred; or two to four years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three+ years of leadership experience directly or indirectly leading a team of 20+ team members.
  • Certified Property Manager (CPM), Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Certified Apartment Leasing Professional (CALP) certifications preferred, but not required.
  • Three to five years of property management experience in multi-family environment preferred.
  • Previous management experience, including training and coaching, oversight of financial and/or back-end operations, and building and maintaining budgets within a service or sales industry.
  • Ability to lead through complex customer and team member situations through the use effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Power BI and Yardi, etc. 
  • Willingness to work extended hours in a demanding and sometimes stressful environment. Evening and weekend work is required at times, most often at the beginning and end of each month due to business operational cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to train and develop team members.
  • A strong leader who can motivate others to perform to their full potential and is able to lead through complex customer and team member situations.
