Busser - Restaurant

Lambertville Station Restaurant and Inn, a member of Genesis Hospitality, is an upscale venue seeking team-oriented candidates for the Busser position. No experience required to apply. On-site training available.

The ideal candidate will assist with bussing tables and in the bar area and be knowledgeable about menu items and focused on providing excellent service to our guests. Flexibility needed – Busser schedule depends on book events.  Candidate must be willing to work weekends and/or holidays if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain service area assignment at the beginning of each shift.
• Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring bread, butter, and water to the table.
• Remove used tableware between courses and provided tableware for next course.
• Clear tables after guests.
• Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
• Promptly clean tables tops, chairs, and booths between seating.
• Check floor and clean as required.
• Respond appropriately to guest’s requests.
• Communicate guest’s requests as needed.
• Communicate with server and hostess to assure efficient seating, table utilization n customer service.
• Assist server as needed with food delivery, especially with large parties and during peak periods.
• Thank guests as they are leaving, 
• be available to fill in as need to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
• Assists with opening and closing duties   
• Ensure bar is well stocked with all necessities   
• Checking taps and appliances   
• Changing out kegs  
• Knowing cocktail recipes and menu items   
• Communication with guests and handling customer concerns   
• Maintain records to assist in the reordering process   
• Following storage protocol
