Journeyman Electrician - Industrial Electrician - Cement Manufacturing

Job Requirements:

• Possess a valid Journeyman’s License.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in industrial electrical maintenance, with preference for experience in the mining industry.
• Completion of vocational training focused on basic electricity and electronics, or equivalent equipment training from military service schools.
• At least four years of hands-on, on-the-job training.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
• Must be in good physical condition to perform tasks involving bending, kneeling, walking, standing, climbing stairs, and lifting. A high degree of manual dexterity, coordination, and eye-hand coordination is essential.

The hourly pay rate is $40.12.

What you will do:

Under the guidance of the Electric Shop Supervisor, performs testing, inspection, troubleshooting, repairs, installation, and wiring of all electrical devices and circuits within the plant. Responsibilities include testing, dismantling, repairing, and evaluating electrical motors, as well as installing cables, conduits, fittings, fixtures, and wiring, and making connections for new or replacement systems.
