Digital Engagement Specialist, Corporate

We are seeking a Digital Engagement Specialist to join our marketing team. This a mid-level management position responsible for supporting and implementing strategic marketing initiatives and social media campaigns for the organization. This position works onsite at our Corporate Office in Arlington, VA.

What the Digital Engagement Specialist will be doing:
•    Manage and adapt property-level social media strategy to ensure its effectiveness as platforms and trends change.
•    Develop and execute annual Social Awareness social media calendar.
•    Oversee Reputation Management for our properties by working with vendor partners to ensure that online reviews receive appropriate responses in a timely manner. Respond to select reviews when necessary.
•    Create marketing collateral for onsite teams focusing on property brands.
•    Assist with coordination and creation of site level video content to be used on websites and in social media. Partner with site teams in creation of site level video content to be used on websites and in social media.
•    Maintain in-depth knowledge of online and other marketing channels.
•    Assist with implementation and management of new technology, marketing campaigns or other strategic initiatives on behalf of the marketing department.
•    Support and collaborate with onsite teams on marketing operations and marketing software optimization.
•    Evaluate the impact of marketing programs in achieving their stated objectives.
 
What the Digital Engagement Specialist will need to succeed:
•    Experience building marketing programs and reporting results.
•    Competence as a creative writer with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask and work independently and accurately on stated job responsibilities. An eye for great imagery, flyers and emails.
•    Exposure to social media and digital marking.
•    Expertise in the use of online networking sites and proficiency in standard office software applications.
•    Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media and reputation best practices.
•    Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and web traffic metrics and understanding of social media KPIs.
•    Proficiency with business social media and writing.
•    Degree in Marketing and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop) preferred. 
•    Familiarity with Entrata or another property management software and with web design and publishing.
•    Strong communication and project management skills.
