 A day as an HR & Events Coordinator:

  • You will apply knowledge of recruiting, sourcing, onboarding facilitation, and HR development for all US Events. Assist in day-to-day HR operations and administrative tasks, including verification of employment, accident/injury reporting/prevention, and effective record keeping. Create new employee files and appropriately retain terminated ones.
  • Support the US HR/Payroll team on-site during US Events - assist with attendance, payroll, benefits and general inquiries and work towards resolving any discrepancies with US HR/Payroll team.
  • Assemble and update Events new hire packages, including offer letters, and ensure all applicable documentation and forms are current and effectively stored. Assist with creating and distribution of internal communications to Events employees.
  • Support the L&D Manager with various employee engagement programs, administrative, and other duties for the L&D team.
  • Perform special and ongoing projects as requested

  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept directions on given assignments.
  • Ability to make decisions and exercise sound judgment and use initiative.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
  • Bilingual speaker (English and Spanish) is highly desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility with traveling to events is highly required.

 

Education & Experience

  • College degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of related administrative experience in a Human Resources Department of small to mid-sized organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer).
  • Bilingual speaker (English and Spanish) is highly desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility with traveling to events is highly required.
