Job Overview:

Looking for a self-motivated engineer that can help us to identify waste and optimize manufacturing process and materials management. Candidate must have expertise related to 5S’s, 10 steps Kaizen and DMAIC methodology.

Promoter of Lean Manufacturing culture within the organization, and adherence to Quality management System procedures and standardization.

Responsibilities:

• Weekly 5s’s audits.
• Coordinate Kaizen Workshops.
• Find improvement opportunities impacting Quality, Cost and Delivery.
• Improvement ideas Implementation tracking.
• Active participation on Six Sigma projects.

Preferred Experience:

• 1 year of experience in Lean Manufacturing or similar positions.
• 2 years of Experience needed with Automotive Parts assembly such IP, Consoles or doors.
• Basic Knowledge on processes related to Injection Molding, Plastic Welding, Torque control and assembly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Industrial, mechanical, electrical or similar).
• Strong understanding of Kaizen Principles such: Waste elimination, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban and TPM.
• Good understanding in DMAIC Six Sigma Methodology.
• Green Belt or Black Belt Certification preferred (Not mandatory)
