Fan Ambassador (Part Time)
Summary:
In this role you must be passionate about working in the hospitality industry and execute a Cosmworthy experience, while creating a memorable experience for our guests.
Our Fan Ambassadors will ensure the highest level of hospitality is delivered to fans at all times by providing best-in-class services as it relates to greeting arriving fans, assisting with ticket sales, scanning tickets, thanking departing fans, and assisting with any questions or concerns fans may have. They will be a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with a passion for providing the highest standards of customer service. This particular role will be responsible for answering telephone calls, resolving fan questions, issuing tickets & credits, and elevating any ticketing, group sales, or event sales questions to appropriate parties. This individual should be prepared to be on the phone in the venue during traditional business hours (9 – 6pm) Monday – Sunday and assist with ushering fans throughout the venue, assisting with event set up and break down, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all fans and team members alike. Ideal candidate will have familiarity with ticketing and point of sales systems with an understanding of box office and event management.
Responsibilities:
Applicant must be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation. The individual must also follow all appropriate Cosm policies and procedures outlined in the training manuals and employee handbook.
- 2 - 4 years of Box Office experience.
- Experience in professional sports or concerts/arena events.
- Knowledge of ticketing products .
- Focuses on a one-team approach by helping other team members to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Willing to multi-task, prioritize multiple projects at once, and lead of part-time box office staff.
- General understanding of accounting principles and excel for reporting-based needs preferred.
- A strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence is imperative.
- Must be able to work well in a collaborative group environment, be a flexible and reliable team player (both within own department and within company as a whole).
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality and use discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Ability to prioritize and solve problems efficiently and quickly.
- Able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption.
- Effective interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
- Interest in the sports and entertainment ticketing industry a bonus, but not a requirement
- Must be able to work a variety of shifts, based on the need volume of the operation (late hours, holidays, weekend, etc.)
- Must consistently be friendly and outgoing toward guests, management, and fellow team members.
- Must work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Must work well under pressure.
- Must have superior communication skills, including written and verbal communication.
- Must feel comfortable with in-person, email, and telephone interactions.
- Demonstrates good time management skills and communication skills.
- Follows Company and state safety guidelines to provide a safe working environment.
- Support daily operations and administration tasks at the Fan Experience Desk.
Experience:
- Previous guest services and / or retail experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and professional interpersonal skills required.
- Must be fluent in English and able to write in basic English.
- Must be of legal age to work unrestricted hours as outlined by local ordinances and state laws.
- Must be able to continuously stand, walk and lift up to 10 pounds.
- Must be able to frequently bend, squat, reach overhead, and lift up to 20 pounds.
- Will be occasionally kneeling and lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Will seldom be sitting, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting over 50 pounds.
The hourly rate for this position in California is $20. The pay offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
