Finance Coordinator

In this role, you will provide crucial fiscal and administrative support to CCRC programs, ensuring they are financially monitored and administratively supported to maximize their impact.

 

Qualifications:

  • Required: AA/AS Degree and at least 3 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience totaling at least 5 years in administrative/financial roles.
  • Preferred: Experience with data entry, payment systems, accounts payable, or other finance/information technology areas.

As the Finance Coordinator you will:

  • Process program expenditures, including vouching invoices and documenting cost allocations.
  • Prepare and submit paperwork for Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in vendor invoices and financial transactions.
  • Review and compute program donations and grants, assisting with program spending and projections.
  • Prepare and route independent contractor agreements for review and signature.
  • Process provider payments, dues, family fees, and reimbursements.
  • Compile information for financial analysis and reporting.
  • Provide ongoing support for updating projections related to staffing, cost allocation, and cost fluctuations.
  • Assist program staff with purchase requisitions and communicate financial procedures.
  • Attend department meetings and planning sessions.
  • Provide training and support to various teams on fiscal policies and procedures.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications:

  • Must be able to relate well to all people of the community regardless of color, national origin, religion, sex, pregnancy, age, marital status, veteran status, sexual  orientation, disability or socio-economic level.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age by date of hire. 
  • Must comply with the CAPSLO COVID-19 Vaccination Policy, either being fully vaccinated or sign a COVID-19 vaccination declination form.
  • Based on the program, a current TB skin test/Chest X-Ray may be required. 
  • Employment is contingent upon meeting all applicable job requirements and background requirements. A criminal history clearance is required prior to employment. 
  • Upon hire, agency staff will check the Megan’s Law (or the current sexual predator website) to ensure each staff being hired is clear for employment. Agency staff will check the website annually to ensure all program staff are cleared to work.
