What You Will Accomplish
As a Restaurant Manager with The Meritage Resort, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations to ensure a high standard of service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. You will lead and motivate a team of staff members, manage day-to-day operations, and work closely with senior management to achieve the company’s goals.
Operational Management: Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring the establishment is clean, well-organized, and operational.
Staff Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff. Foster a positive work environment and provide ongoing coaching and performance evaluations.
Customer Service: Ensure high standards of customer service and address any guest concerns or complaints in a professional and effective manner.
Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and maximize profitability. Monitor and analyze financial performance and implement strategies to improve revenue and reduce expenses.
Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management, including ordering and maintaining stock levels, and ensuring proper storage and handling of food and beverages.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and company policies. Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract and retain customers.
Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate special events, private parties, and other functions to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
