Cutlet Runner

Position Summary and Responsibilities:

The primary purpose of this position is to prep blade and pectoral meat for the tenderizing machine to make cutlets and cube steaks.

• Tenderize and size meat.
• Pack, box, label, and scan finished product. 
• Wrap and weight the meat cuts.
• Operate cube steak machine, tenderize meat according to specifications.
• As production demand varies, all xxxx are expected to have hour and day flexibility.
• Perform other duties, as assigned.
• Maintain all work surfaces, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized. 
• Always follow the USDA, HACCP, SSOP, and Ben E. Keith’s food safety rules and regulations.              
• Always follow the Ben E. Keith employee safety rules and regulations such as Lock Out Tag Out.
• Wear the required protective and food safety equipment at all times while in the production area.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.  
• Must have basic knowledge of meat. 
• Familiarity with pallet jack, forklift, or other industrial vehicles. 
• Excellent Communication Skills. 
• Excellent teamwork skills. 
• Self-Starter.  
• Basic math knowledge

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely, and successfully with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards.
• Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 80 lbs.
• Must be able to stand on your feet all day and work in a cold (32-40º) environment.
