SAP Solution Architect

Job Summary: The SAP Solution Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing the SAP S/4 solution architecture to meet the business needs of our organization. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP S/4, strong technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. This position will report to the VP of Architecture and Data and will have no direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP S/4 solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective SAP solutions.
• Develop and maintain the overall SAP S/4 architecture, including integration with other systems and applications.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring best practices and standards are followed.
• Conduct system assessments and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
• Oversee the configuration, customization, and testing of SAP S/4 modules.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAP S/4 implementation and operation.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends, recommending innovative solutions to enhance business processes.
• Mentor and train junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in SAP solution architecture, with a focus on SAP S/4.
• Proven track record of successfully leading SAP S/4 implementation projects.
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4 modules, including Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales & Distribution.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies and middleware.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and regulatory requirements in the foodservice distribution sector is a plus.
• SAP certification(s) preferred.
