Intern
SUMMARY
Provides customer service assistance and clerical support to Corporate Services departments and/or Business Units.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assists with support issues and responds to all problems in a timely, courteous manner.
• Responds to or routes emails to others; operates virtual collaboration tools, scanners, printers and copiers.
• Executes assignments on Microsoft Office Suite.
• Complies with corporate management system data standards and data integrity (enters and maintains complete and accurate information).
• Perform various work assignments in areas of department specialization.
• Review processes and create process documentation.
• Project work as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
Currently enrolled in a college as a junior or senior, majoring in math, insurance / risk management, or other related field of study
SKILLS
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good customer service skills, including telephone and listening skills
Good problem solving and time management skills
Intermediate typing skills (30-35 wpm)
Ability to work within a team and to foster teamwork
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
