Flexco, a leading global manufacturer of conveyor systems, is seeking a self-starter with excellent time management skills for the position of Field Specialist based in the Northeast region of the United States. This role will support a territory that covers parts of North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, West Virginia and Kentucky. The chosen candidate would be responsible for leading and facilitating service-related activities and provide technical support, within the company and externally, for all Flexco products.

Field Specialists at Flexco have a variable compensation structure that can be anywhere from $80,000.00 to $130,000.00, or more, depending on skills, results and experience.

 

What you will need:   

  • Broad specialized training equivalent to 2 years of college.
  • Product knowledge of all Flexco products.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience.
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • MSHA training completed
  • The ability to work in an underground environment

 

What you will be doing:

  • Facilitate and provide service-related activities in coordination with Flexco Territory Managers, through distribution channel and direct with end-users
  • Facilitate conveyor audits at customer site locations
  • Provide product field support services in coordination with Flexco Territory Managers, through distribution channel and direct with end-users
  • Make joint sales calls and conduct customer presentations
  • Troubleshoot product application challenges and provide solutions
  • Participate in and support trade show efforts
  • Conduct product demonstrations, coordinate product test site locations, assist in new product launches
  • Conduct and present internal and external product training to Flexco Territory Managers, distribution channel and end-users by demonstrating features and benefits
  • Participate in classroom and “road show” training
  • Provide technical support to Flexco sales organization, customers and internal
  • Provide selling support in the areas of custom quotes and bid proposals for all Flexco products.
  • Coordinate supply of technical drawings and literature
  • Support marketing initiatives for related installation and training videos
  • Research and collect competitive activities and selling strategies in the field
  • Provide input for new product development and service strategies for all Flexco products.
  • Participate in the resolution of product quality problems
