Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

Summary:

The Cosm Engineering team develops technology to deliver best-in-class experiences in our digital and live-streaming products. We are looking for a talented Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to help ensure the quality and user experience across various platforms. We expect our engineers to be versatile, display leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic when taking on new problems across the full stack as we continue to push the technology forward. The ideal candidate will be closely working with technical and business teams to plan, develop and maintain tests and to develop best practices. You will work in an energetic and highly creative environment with a group of highly talented, passionate, and successful individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain automation frameworks for consumer facing and internal applications.
• Write automation tests for APIs, mobile and web applications.
• Work with product manager and QA team members to prioritize automated tests.
• Contribute toward code reviews on pull requests.
• Collaborate closely with a cross disciplinary team (Design, Product and Engineering)

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Four to six years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Typescript, Javascript or similar languages.
• Experience building frameworks using WebdriverIO, Appium, Cypress or similar tools.
• Experience working with mochajs, jest or similar tools.
• Familiar with services such as BrowserStack, LambaTest or Saucelabs.
• Experience writing automation for API, web and mobile applications.
• Familiar with test case management tools such as Xray or TestRail.
• Identify potential risks and issues which may impact quality and user experience.
