Sr. Human Resources Business Partner
Summary:
The Sr. HR Business Partner (Sr HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to the Cosm business units, ensuring the alignment of HR initiatives with our business goals. This role will focus on employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and change management to support the company's growth and people strategy. The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, employees and collaborate with other HR functions to deliver best-in-class support and guidance. Cosm is a fast-growing company, and everyone must be willing to do the “small things” and have the ability to do the “big things.”
Responsibilities:
- Act as a key partner for the employees, managers, and senor leaders in the assigned business unit(s).
- Support and influence key decisions on organizational structure, workforce planning, key hiring decisions and talent management.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.
- Lead change management initiatives to foster a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with HR centers of excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, etc.) to implement company-wide initiatives.
- Facilitate succession planning and support leadership in identifying and developing future talent.
- Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to drive business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
- Willingness to work out of the Playa Vista, CA office (Hybrid) at least 3 days per week.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in an HR Business Partner role.
- Previous experience in Recruiting, Compensation and/or other areas of HR a plus.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment required.
- Demonstrated experience working complex employee relations issues from investigation to resolution.
- Proven experience in a fast-growing organization.
- Strong business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Team player attitude with the willingness to “roll-up your sleeves” to help in any areas necessary from tactical to strategic.
- Ability to travel occasionally when needed.
The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $125,000 to $165,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
