Location: 9715 N Virginia St, Reno NV 89506
Pay: $75,000. - $95,000. per year
Shift: Monday to Friday from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Employment Logistics:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Field Safety Manager who is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety policies and procedures within their assigned region to minimize workplace accidents and injuries by conducting risk assessments, safety inspections, employee training, incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, all while promoting a culture of safety within the company.

The Must-Haves:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, OR
- Five years related experience and/or training in related industry or management; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience.
AND
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license.

Your Mission in Motion:
- Risk assessment and hazard identification:
Proactively identifying potential hazards in the workplace through regular inspections, assessments, and analysis of safety data to mitigate risks before incidents occur.
- Policy development and implementation:
Creating and enforcing comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and guidelines that align with industry standards and legal requirements.
- Employee training and awareness:
Designing and delivering safety training programs to educate employees at all levels on proper safety practices, emergency procedures, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Incident & regulatory investigation and reporting:
Investigating workplace accidents and regulatory (OSHA) inquiries to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent future occurrences.
- Compliance monitoring:
Regularly inspecting work areas and operations to ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
- Data analysis and reporting:
Tracking safety metrics, analyzing trends, and preparing reports to identify areas for improvement and demonstrate the effectiveness of safety initiatives.
- Collaboration with management:
Working with supervisors and management to promote a strong safety culture, address concerns, and integrate safety considerations into operational planning.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- A broad knowledge of rules, regulations, and guidelines relating to safety.
- The ability to create and implement programs and processes that improve the safety of all employees.
Organizational Relationship:
- Provides advisement to facilities regarding workplace safety and procedures.
- Consults and coordinates with Employees, Facility Managers, Regional Managers and Directors in the field.
Work Environment:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in office, warehouse and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate and the employee may have occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions and periodic heat and cold.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; lift up to 50 pounds and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
