Job Title- Geography Rewards Head(United States, Canada & Colombia)

Location- NJ/NY - Hybrid-2-3 days a week in office

Job Overview:

EXL is seeking to hire the Vice President, Rewards Head Americas. The core element of the role is focused on partnering with the HR Leadership and other key stakeholders to develop and mature the compensation philosophy and strategy within the geography. The role is a senior leadership impacting a headcount of ~3,400 employees in our total reward offering for the geography.

Roles & Responsibilities:

The core element of the role is focused on partnering with the HR Leadership and other key stakeholders to develop and mature the compensation philosophy and strategy within the geography. The role is a senior leadership impacting a headcount of ~2,700 employees in our total reward offering for the geography.

  • The role will require expertise of external best-practices and reward strategies combined with a track record of conceptualizing successful strategies, developing and leading action plans, and the ability to execute and operationalize in a scalable way to amplify Business productivity and sustain a high performing culture that attracts, motivates and retains talent.
  • Engage with Global Rewards on Benchmarking of salary, benefits data and participation in regular/industry/forum level surveys. Analyze and share reports/insights to Leadership/Top Management.
  • Will work closely with HR leaders and C&B on promotions, market corrections, Geo mobility, other compensation related recommendations.
  • Work in tandem with geography benefits team for designing and monitoring the competitiveness of EXL benefits being offered in the geography comparable to the market.
  • Co-lead strategy and design to deliver quality benefit programs to remain competitive and cost-effective. Might participate in negotiation of agreements with insurance carriers and financial institutions for administration of benefits programs.
  • Will be required to assess the eligibility of benefits in relation to exempt vs. non-exempt employees and provide necessary guidance from Compliance perspective.
  • Track and work on DEI, Pay Equity and Gender Pay analysis with the Global Reward Team.
  • Calibrate with Global Reward on annual processes such as:
    • Merit Increase,
    • Bonus and
    • Equity Grants.
    • Evaluate effectiveness of STI (Bonus, P4P, sales Commission) and LTI (Equity) plans.
  • Monitor, evaluate and design Hiring Ranges with Recruitment, HRBP and Business.
  • Liaise with Compliance/Legal team and ensure compliance with regulations and company policies in compensation decisions.
  • Design, maintain and evaluate the effectiveness of C&B policies relevant to geography.
  • Ensure effective and timely communications to employees.
  • Collaborate with Global Rewards team to develop monthly/quarterly dashboards and analysis.
  • Partner with Global Rewards and finance team on Budgeting and Pricing of jobs.
  • Manage the data processes required by internal and external sources, including resolving data errors and partnering with HR shared services as needed.
  • Prepare reports and analysis of compensation data. Partner with HR Business Partners and Management to review findings and recommendations
  • Partner with other HR team members/leaders and functional areas to investigate and resolve escalated employee issues (Compensation matters).
  • Collaborate with HRIS/HRSS/DHRO to maintain systems related to compensation and benefits administration.

  • Analytical skills with ability to use data proactively to address opportunities.

Understanding of tools like Tableau, Power BI, Qlik sense etc. is desired.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 15+ years’ experience in Compensation and Benefits with minimum of 8 years in leading the function or Geography Head Position.
  • Strong analytical and data ability
  • Execution Excellence and result drive orientation
  • Strong stakeholder relationships/other partnerships experience within a global setting.
  • ITES/KPO/Analytics Industry background
