Forming Operator Lead- 1st Shift

Responsible for the set up and operation of assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. Ensure quality control, perform complex troubleshooting, and provide leadership and training to team members to enhance overall productivity.

Shift: 1st Shift (7am-3pm)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate mechanical equipment efficiently and safely to meet production targets.
• Ensure product quality by verifying that all items meet quality control specifications.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment to resolve complex issues and ensure smooth operation.
• Interpret blueprints and engineering specifications to ensure proper setup and operation.
• Utilize gaging instruments to verify product specifications and quality.
• Guide and mentor team members, helping interpret processes and contributing to efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with management on operational improvements and assist in training new staff.
• Provide leadership and coaching to team members, ensuring adherence to production goals.
• Support daily operations and perform some supervisory duties when required.
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately.
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required

• Education: High School Equivalent.
• Experience: Typically requires 4+ years of experience.
