Part Time Housekeeper  
 
POSITION SUMMARY:
 
The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of resident apartments and community areas. These activities will fulfill the SageLife Mission and demonstrate the We Care Values and the Sage Associate Promise.
 
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
1. Clean resident apartments, bathrooms, common areas, and employee offices as assigned.
2. Operate laundry facilities as needed.
3. Assist other departments in general cleaning in support of resident events and activities.
4. Keep current with all state and facility required annual training.
5. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EducationHigh school or GED equivalent.
ExperienceOne year of experience as a housekeeper.
SkillsFamiliar with use of vacuums, mops, cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Must be able to speak, read, and understand English at a 12th grade level or higher.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds and exert 50 pounds of force.
Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and stoop as needed.
Able to walk up/down 4 flights of stairs.
 
Equipment Used: 
Standard cleaning equipment and agents.
 
Other:  
Must never have been convicted of a felony related to theft or illegal sale of a controlled substance.
   
No person working in a Residence shall have been determined by an administrative board or court to have violated any 
local, state, or federal statute, regulation, ordinance, or other law reasonably related to the safety and well-being of a Resident at an Assisted Living Residence or patient at a Health Care Facility.
