Summary
OnTrac’s Driver Strategy Team is seeking an experienced Technical Program Management executive to lead large organizational initiatives across OnTrac’s logistics network. This is an exciting opportunity to drive forward-thinking projects that streamline operations and yield savings for OnTrac’s Last Mile organization.
As the Sr. Director, Driver Strategy, you will be required to identify Field and Business technology needs to improve Last Mile Operations. This will be the single threaded leader that will be the voice of field, partner with Driver Network Operations, Under The Roof Operations, Legal, Product and Technology teams to advance development, create prioritization and provide specificity to product team(s) on various technology development but not limited to Routing, Last Mile Containerization, RSP Portal, Route Assignment & Affinity, Address Quality and Driver Load and Dispatch that will help achieve last mile optimization. This role will also work with Process Engineering to develop Last Mile Branch Sortation, Wave Dispatch Processes and Strategies, Design Sortation Container and more that will bring new age innovation to Ontrac’s Last Mile Operations. This leader will create specific last mile metrics that explains business growth and identify future opportunities to reduce cost across more than [y] delivery branches, enabling OnTrac to revolutionize its logistics operations for over [z] drivers. You will partner with senior Tech and Operations leaders to ensure designs meet high standards for availability, resiliency, operator satisfaction, and automated management.
Responsibilities
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to build technology, tools and standard operating procedures that can be used consistently across the network, driving the roadmap to build for the long-term while delivering incremental progress.
Anticipating business needs and creating flexible, scalable plans to satisfy both current and future requirements.
Ensuring high standards through your leadership and guidance, participating in strategic planning and brainstorming improvements.
Maintaining comprehensive project roadmaps, deliverables, and dependencies, leveraging your exceptional organizational skills.
Partnering with engineering and operations leaders on delivery best practices, from long-term initiative decomposition to sprint alignment, deconflicting rollout schedules to minimize operational churn.
Defining measures of success and implementing cadences to track and report out progress against organization goals
Meeting regularly with stakeholders and senior leadership (including C-Suite) to ensure solutions are meeting the needs of the business.

Minimum Requirements
Basic Qualifications
2+ years executive leadership in a Centralized Support Organization for a Last Mile Delivery business 50 million+ parcels annually via third party delivery service providers
5+ years of technical product or program management experience working with software engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle, including definition of Minimum Lovable Product and Delivery Milestones
7+ years of experience working with operations/engineering teams
5+ years of program management experience in Last Mile Operations
Experience managing programs remotely across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of cross functional organization leadership disciplines including scoping, scheduling, budgeting, resourcing, and quality control
Proven track record of delivering Year over Year productivity and customer satisfaction improvements for last mile delivery organization of 50 million+ Parcels annually
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
Master's Degree or higher preferred
6-10 years experience in related field
Up to 50% Travel
