Mental Health Clinician (Multilingual)

The Licensed Mental Health Clinician will be mission-driven with a desire to make a difference for people and communities served by LCSNW. The MHC will provide intake assessments, therapy and case management services for children, youth, and their families.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interview client(s) to obtain information necessary to complete the intake and assessment process
- Formulate treatment plans and goals in conjunction with client(s). Periodically review treatment plans, discuss progress towards goals with clients and modify treatment plans when necessary.
- Plan and administer therapeutic interventions that are culturally competent, consistent with that theoretical base, and are within the ethical standards of the profession (NASW or Code of Ethics)
- Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to Agency policy and procedures including mandatory reporting laws while representing the Agency in a professional manner
- Maintain extensive knowledge regarding provision of treatment to victims of violent acts and identify critical components necessary in responding to survivors.
- Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the culture and socioeconomic characteristics of the population we serve
- Complete all clinical paperwork to Agency standards and within the expected timeframe and gather records and consults with other necessary parties, which may include medical doctors, other service providers, school personnel, CPS, law enforcement, attorneys and other specialists involved with the client
- Bill Medicaid and other providers appropriately and guide other Clinician’s through the documentation process
REQUIREMENTS:
- Two (2) years of related experience in a Mental Health field (Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, Psychology etc)
- Master’s in Mental Health field
- Agency Affiliated Counselor in the state of Washington, cleared through local, state and or federal agencies to work with vulnerable populationsis required upon start. MHP designation requires either registration as a licensed or an associate licensed mental health provider i.e. (LICSWA, LICSW, LMHCA, LMHC, LMFTA or LMT, Psychologist) or 2 years of experience as a mental health professional working under the supervision of a Mental Health Professional
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
- Intermediatemastery of business applications and productivity suites
- Demonstrates resilience, awareness and self-regulation in navigating challenges, conflict and obstacles/barriers.
- Thrives in a diverse and multicultural environment; works with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies to enhance end-user experiences throughout the service lifecycle
- Demonstrates exceptional commitment to serving and advocating for diverse and marginalized populations
- Successfully completes tasks in a moderately noisy environment
- Interacts with others and performs tasks in-person and through the use of technology, with moderate periods of stationary activity and moderate periods of increased physical activity including and not limited to (most common physical activities for the job)
- Moves equipment/materials weighing up to 10 pounds
- May work in a variety of settings, including and not limited to LCSNW office locations, partner agency and community-based settings, client home/community settings, outdoor settings in varying weather conditions, school-based settings and faith-based settings such as churches
- Meets LCSNW criminal background clearance requirements and other job-relevant clearances as required by the State or program
