Part Sales Representative II

BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Support the Kubota dealership network by offering guidance regarding parts sales programs, resolving issues pertaining to parts marketing, branded merchandising, questions and order entry and back order status needs in a highly visible quality-driven, sales oriented and customer service style environment.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
- Provide dealer support with respect to parts marketing inquiries, sales order and return related issues, damage and shortage claims, invoicing inquires, allocation/shipment of products, product availability.
- Assist parts marketing management team by providing support and information sharing among parts personnel to increase operating efficiencies while improving customer service and overall dealer satisfaction.
- Work closely with dealership network to provide details regarding parts programs and events related to parts happening at the dealership level.
- Provide support to parts Sales team and management, regional sales managers and other KTC management staff as necessary.
- Work closely with Parts Marketing Management to ensure coordination and timely processing of sales orders and/or program participation.
- Capture feedback from dealers and develop insightful, concise management summary reports. Monitor dealer trends and sales performance.
- Work closely with Home Office parts marketing team to ensure accuracy on program information and sales updates to the dealers. Closely collaborate with parts sales team to implement and execute parts sales plan at the divisions.
- Limited travel may be required to attend company events.
- Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma required.
- At least 5 years of sales training and experience preferred.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in sales and operations such as counter practices and principals related but not limited to parts counter sales, merchandising and cross-merchandising, upselling.
- Must possess knowledge and experience with SAP, Windows -based programs and operating systems and proficient with Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the ability to effectively schedule and develop position workload.
- The ability to remain tactful in support of resolving dealer concerns.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to train, coach and cross-train others in the principals of parts sales and marketing.
- Effective organization skills with the ability to prioritize and follow-up on issues as assigned. Relationship building skill, great follow up (i.e. timely responses, ability to multitask and prioritize tasks)
